Velkomin á vefsíðu Dýrahjálpar Íslands!
Dýrahjálp Íslands er félag sjálfboðaliða sem leitast við að sjá dýrum sem þarfnast heimilis fyrir skjóli og stofna til þess dýraathvarf.
Frá stofnun félagsins í maí 2008 hefur Dýrahjálp Íslands aðstoðað alls 8,106 dýr í heimilisleit.
Nelly og Negull (á fósturheimili Dýrahjálpar)

Both Nelly and Ned now have a whole room to themselves and they would love to still be free roaming bunnies.

Nelly is very curious and always follow me around when I clean their area. She grooms and licks not only Ned but also me. She is the boss in their relationships, once she gets used to you, she will come and greet you. She got attached to one of my pug. They always kiss each other through the fence /while the other senior pug just doesn’t care of them. I was lucky my 17yo cat to be very nice to them too. Both the rabbits got out of the house to look at the animals everytime they come to visit their room ?? which is not the case in the first month.
Negull (Ned) is a bit timid and shy and always follow Nelly around. He relies on Nelly to groom him and always cause a ruckus when I need to clip his nails - stomps a lot after. He does come to check you out if you stay in their cage for long and sniff you

Vön öðrum dýrum: It is best for them to not be with other animals but they are used to our 17 years old cat and occasionally meet /sniff our pugs with supervision through the fence.
Heilsufar: They are both very healthy and active rabbits.
Fylgir: Carrier, water bowl, food bowl, toilet , hay, fences, 3 wood houses, tunnel toys, wood toys
